Panasonic North America
CES 2007, Las Vegas
Client Challenge
Panasonic of North America was looking for an environment to display their vast range of products with an emphasis on their 103" Plasma HDTV - the world's largest Plasma TV at the Consumer Electronics Show.
Strategic Solution
In the 50 x 440 space, H.B. Stubbs Companies determined a way to highlight all of PNA's product lines with a focus on the 103" Plasma HDTV. Working with PNA's primary sales company and with multiple product groups on their portion of the booth, we designed five main product areas within the space:
- Main Stage: entrance to the booth displaying the largest Plasma to date, the 103". The main stage presents eight of the 103¨ units in conjunction with a theatrical presentation of video and live entertainment.
- Blu-Ray Jazz Club: theatrical environment with video and sound that specifically provides the distinction with HD lifestyle connecting video on four vertical 65" plasma's and one horizontal 103" plasma with 5.1 ELS surround sound zone that mixes the sound of 5 Jazz musicians.
- Plasma/LCD and MMD Product Line-up: represents the full line of TV products available to the consumer from 103" plasma to the 26" LCD panel. Behind the full line up of TV products is a museum like walk-through that professes the state of the art technology that PNA has and continues to offer within their TV products.
- DSC/DVC Beach Vignette: this environment is designed to generate a lifelike experience with what a consumer would see from the deck of a cruise ship. The attendee is allowed to physically touch the product and see exactly what the consumer would see through the lens and LCD of the product.
- Living in HD Loft: PNA is on the cutting edge of bringing the HD lifestyle to the everyday lives of the potential consumer. This area is specific to the needs of the consumer, explaining how one user could potentially utilize all PNA products from all aspects of their lives - home, office, living room, bedroom, etc.
It was a monumental challenge to produce all of this in a very short timeframe and a testament to our team spirit and resourcefulness that the show went through flawlessly. The end result was a high level of client satisfaction. Now it's onward and upward to CES 2008 and new challenges.
