Client Challenge
The Phoenix Coyotes were looking for a destination inside Jobing.com Arena for VIP suite owners to go before, during and after the games. The destination needed to be complete by the first game of the 2006-2007 season.
Strategic Solution
H.B. Stubbs Companies designed and fabricated the “themed” elements of the new Rinkside Club at Jobing.com Arena. The full service bar, carving stations, hot entrees and desert tables are surrounded by a hockey and entertainment themed environment. The environment consists of giant, stacked faux hockey pucks that surround building columns to provide fans with a place to enjoy their food while they watch the game on a personal 13” LCD screen. Faux “scratched ice” lighting fixtures brighten the space and posters of hockey stars and celebrities add color and interest to the dining alcove and bar areas. Triangular windows showcase the teams as they pass through the adjacent hallway on their way to the ice, and the entire space is filled with new energy and excitement as fans keep up with the game action by watching any one of the large screen plasma monitors that are strategically placed throughout the room. The Rinkside Club is now another reason for the Coyotes fans to come early and stay late at the Jobing.com Arena.
