Quark Inc. was in need of an event that would appeal to and reflect the character of their bright, creative and loyal customer base. The event needed to have high quality interaction that displayed Quark, Inc.’s products and services and it needed to be “portable” enough to be re-purposed and repeated in two different cities.
Strategic Solution
H.B. Stubbs Companies worked closely with the marketing team at Quark, Inc. to find the right venues and to produce Symposiums in Chicago and New York City. Once they were launched, the events hit the mark; they had maximum attendance and received rave reviews from Quark, Inc. customers and management. Each symposium included a full day of hands-on computer labs where attendees could interact with Quark, Inc. trainers on the newest software: QuarkXPress 7. Attendees could also experience various presentations that were taught by Quark, Inc. subject matter experts and spend their catered lunch break sharing ideas with colleagues. The entire event, branded and produced by HBSC, wrapped the Quark, Inc. customers in the excitement of the evolution of new software and the enthusiasm of the company to work closely with its end-users.
