Client Challenge

Verizon Mobile’s goal was to introduce a new product to a specific market, telling the FiOS story and highlighting its benefits. The company was seeking a high-visibility exhibit which would inform and educate consumers on all its products; create a unique experience of the brand; serve as an active community-marketing influence to combat the strong local presence of cable competitors; drive purchase interest and sales; and act as a training tool for the sales organization.

Strategic Solution

H.B. Stubbs Companies designed and produced a multi-use mobile-demonstration unit, which was chosen by Verizon because it provided the company with complete control of its target market; created a unique experience to engage consumers; had a low cost per contact for education and sales; provided flexibility for time/location issues; and could deliver customized programs at a reduced cost. In addition, the interior of the mobile unit provides a comfortable selling environment, while highlighting the use of multiple Verizon products in various settings; and interactive media allows guests to engage with onsite product specialists to gain a complete understanding of the value and benefits of Verizon products. As a result, each mobile unit designed by H.B. Stubbs Companies was scheduled for 96 events within the first six months, and two additional vehicles were planned for the following year.
